Dortmund Theatre: The Opera House
With classical and modern opera, ballet, operettas and musicals, the variety at the Opera House is as wide as the quality is high. Dortmund has made a name for itself by producing new and rather unusual works and has become the darling of the feature writers. But the Opera House tries to keep a balance between innovation and tradition. Not only does the motivated ensemble work very hard, the Opera director herself appears on stage during matinées introducing the soloists. Da capo!
